Shawshank Redemption, Alternate Ending:

And even though it takes Andy some twenty-five years to chisel his way through the wall, the task nourishes his sanity and sets him apart from the other inmates.

Imagine his shock --upon FINALLY breaking through the last mental and physical barriers holding him captive-- at finding himself in an alternate reality... In a space suit (because all astronauts come from Ohio)... High above the earth... With Red's soothing, narrative voice whispering in his ear:
